We believe the best games are the ones you can pick up in seconds and enjoy for hours. Checkers Master is our love letter to one of humanity's oldest strategy games.
Jetsside was founded with a simple idea: bring the best classic board games to the browser so anyone can play them — instantly, freely, and without barriers. No downloads, no accounts, no complicated setup. Just open the page and play.
Our flagship title, Checkers Master, is a browser-based version of the classic checkers (draughts) game that has been enjoyed by millions of people across cultures and centuries. We've taken everything that makes checkers timeless and wrapped it in a clean, modern interface that works beautifully on any device.
Checkers holds a unique place in the world of board games. It's simple enough for a child to learn in minutes, yet deep enough that mathematicians and AI researchers have studied it for decades. The game was "solved" computationally in 2007 by a team at the University of Alberta — a project that took 18 years. That's how much strategic depth lives within those 64 squares.
We chose checkers as our first game because it embodies what we value most: accessibility paired with depth. It's the rare game that can be enjoyed equally by a 7-year-old and a 70-year-old, by someone killing five minutes and someone spending an afternoon perfecting their opening strategy.
Games should be available to everyone, on every device, without paywalls or barriers to entry.
Great design is invisible. We focus on clean interfaces that let the gameplay speak for itself.
We don't require accounts, we don't sell data, and we keep our tracking to the bare minimum needed to improve the site.
